Howdy All! Sorry for the lateness of this post, but I was fortunate enough to get to do a little birding at the beautiful Lake Whitney State Park back on Wednesday morning. I didn't have a lot of time, but I did get to see the potential of the place. Franklin's Gulls were circling over the lake. I also picked up my FOS Orchard Oriole. The were still a few White-crowned Sparrows singing. Summer Tanagers were singing from the tops of trees as were Lark Sparrows. I would have loved to be able to spend more time there. eBird below.
