The turbulent weather over the weekend brought good things for birders, not
so much for birds. A calmer situation weather-wise will prevail until next
weekend with another front is due to impact the coast. There was an exodus
event yesterday (Sunday the 19th) but plenty of birds remain grounded for
those who can't wait. NEXRAD should be slow for the next few days. At 2 pm
NEXRAD was showing a mix of showers and birds off Brownsville and Corpus.
Not much activity N of there (yet). I am grappling with a new (to me)
NEXRAD provider.
