Okay Texas county birding geeks. I've started integrating the "Big as Texas
eBird Counties" spreadsheet into Google Maps. These compare species and the
counties they've been verified in eBird with the 2nd Ed. of TOS Handbook of
Texas Birds, put together by Mark Lockwood and Brush Freeman. So far I've
got the Ducks/Geese/Swans mapped out. Instead of one map per species, I've
set up 9-10 layers per map so you can easily compare similar species. Some
Review Species have been combined to get more per map. I've been wanting to
do this for a while to see what species are missing from certain counties.
I'll slowly publish all of the species.
