[texbirds] nesting activity January

I have seen a red bellied woodpecker excavating a hole, two male downy fighting
over a female and of course the great horned owls in my patch are calling to
establish
territory. They tend to suddenly get quiet one night and then I know they have
finished getting a nest started somewhere in the woods behind my house. Cold
spell
hasn't delayed anything.
