This afternoon, on my way back to Houston, I stopped at the pond near the water tower at San Luis Pass. There was a beautiful female Wilson's Phalarope in breeding plumage. Then, I stopped at the pond West of San Luis Pass on the ocean side just past the nature preserve. There were ten Wilson's Phalaropes in breeding plumage. Got some great pics.
