[texbirds] Whooping Crane Robertson Co [Local interest]

Texbirders,
The weather system pushing across the state has deposited a Whooping Crane
in Robertson County. The bird is on private property but can be seen from
TX6 southbound- on the west side of the road at the corner of TX6 and
FM2159, still present as of 11AM. There is a large concrete pad over a
culvert on southbound TX6 that makes for safe pull-offs and viewing. It's a
conspicuous beast hunting through the wetlands just in front of a forested
area (~1000ft from the road). No tags were visible when we were viewing.
Thanks to Alberto Manterola for the initial spot yesterday, and Bryan Calk
and Rachel Smith for getting out in the weather this morning to give us an
early report.
