Just went back and reviewed the archived GOES data from the past day or
two. Does not look as though there was any significant convection over
the Yucatan Wednesday or Thursday until development began around 6pm
Thursday evening. That is far too late to have any effect on what left
Wednesday evening for Thursday arrival on the Gulf Coast.
