Howdy All!

Pretty good start to migration here at the park.  Yesterday, the first
of the Broad-winged Hawks showed up.  It looks like one of our nesting
pairs.  This week the Black-and-White Warblers arrived and the
Yellow-throated Warblers too.  The Eastern Towhees are singing "Drink
your tea" and we even have a Spotted Towhee still hanging around.  The
Hairy Woodpeckers have been a little easier to find lately too. =20

Down by the Beaver Pond the Swamp Sparrows are singing as are the Winter
Wrens.  The surprise birds were the Blue-winged Teal and Lesser Scaup
that were probably here to ride out the storm. =20
