Howdy All! Very windy day outdoors today. The White-winged Scoter is still hanging out on the lake. It is being seen mostly on the east side of the lake. It was joined by a couple of Lesser Scaup. Brown-headed Nuthatches were very busy in several locations on the trails. Tomorrow I am going to get out early (8am) and scout some areas for migrating warblers and the like. If you have a little time in the morning, you are welcome to join me. Also, bird tours at the park are starting back up for migration. This Saturday, March 22, we will have a bird tour starting at 8:15am and go for a couple of hours. Meet at the park headquarters building and we will go into the park from there.
