Greetings All:
We have had one report of 'scouting' Turkey Vultures (3 seen yesterday in
Lubbock) and - bam! - I had a kettle of 38 soaring over my house early this
evening. They usually trickle in but evidently had time to mass a little
bit before they boogied north on extremely favorable winds today (from the
south, 30-35 mph, gusting to 50 mph - very entertaining for folk who wear
hats).
