to know :-) Well I did hear from some of the top resident birders in the LRGV and it would seem there are none known of this winter. Some Northerns were mis-Identified earlier in the winter down there. This what I know and thanks for the info. Are TRPAs destined to become RBA birds there? :-) Also while thinking about it , Bronzed Cowbirds...From what I have heard from two sources aresomewhat hard to come too. Petra and a few friends were down there and did not have any for their trip list, BUT they were not specifically looking for them either. I know they are in short supply up here in Port O'Connor this winter...I have only seen 2 since Jan 30 over near Magic Ridge. I did a walk about this morning in my "square mile" but failed to add a single new species....Bronzed Cowbird would be new for the year....Heck there are not even that many Brown-headeds....Too strange....Guess I will have to be satisfied with the ever present Bronzeds on the big HEB parking lot in Victoria ......No Phoebes and almost zero sparrows in Port O'Conner to speak of....It is a very strange year -- Brush Freeman y,Texas Edit your Freelists account settings for TEXBIRDS at //www.freelists.org/list/texbirds Reposting of traffic from TEXBIRDS is prohibited without seeking permission from the List Owner
