[texbirds] This year's competition with Rich Kostecke - February update

Greetings All:
This year's competition features Anthony Hewetson birding Clapp Park in
Lubbock against Rich Kostecke birding Devine Lake Park in the Austin area.
At the end of January young master Kostecke held a considerable lead with
65 species to Hewetson's 41.
Hewetson picked up some ground in February, adding 20 species to the Clapp
Park list for 2015, making it all the way up to 61 species - not quite
matching Kostecke's end of January total - yeesh!
Kostecke added a mere five species to his Devine Lake Park total, finishing
February off with 70 species.
While 70 to 61 is a lot better than 65 to 41, things are looking a bit grim
at the Clapp Park end of things. It will be interesting to see what kind
of impact March has on the two totals.
