If you're heading to Houston for the Winter TOS Meeting, you might want to
consider bringing:
1. Two-way radios for caravan communication.
2. Waterproof boots. Lots of standing water and damp ground in the field trip
locations.
The weather will be cold in the a.m. (in the 30's or low 40's), but mild in the
afternoon. There is little to no chance of precipitation and winds will be
light.
Make sure to recruit your team of six for the Friday night Bird Quiz! Get a
well-rounded team, since the questions are not all about wonky ornithology
stuff!
