My wife and I saw a pair of Swallow-tailed Kites this morning at about
10:45 just west of the entrance to the Kleb Woods Nature Preserve in Harris
County. There was one adult and a young bird flying over the treetops. The
birds were visible from the hawk tower but we got a much better view of
them driving west on Tomball-Waller Road.
