Russ Pitman Park is located at 7112 Newcastle between Bellaire Blvd and
Evergreen St just inside Loop 610 in Bellaire TX.
4/18/13
We have a very cooperative Swainson's Warbler in the park all day today.
Also have:
Chimney Swifts -4-5
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Purple Martins - overhead
Wood Thrush - 2
Swainson's Thrush - 2
Probably Acadian Flycatcher - 1
Eastern Wood Pewee - 1
Northern Parulas – 6f & 1m
Black & White - 1
Tennessee W - 1
Kentucky Warbler – 1m
Hooded Warbler – 2m & 2 f
Ovenbird- 1
Chestnut-sided - 1
Yellow Breasted Chat - 1
Indigo Buntings 2-3 m & f
Baltimore Oriole - 2 m
Summer Tanager - 1m & 1f & 1 imm male
Scarlet Tanager - 1 m
American Goldfinch – ab 8
and probably a few others I'm forgetting!
plus all the usual residents!
