[texbirds] Some Alternate VNC Field Trips This Weekend (incl Whoopers)

Hi, all!
In addition to the original Riviera trip, we're offering a couple of
options for those who might be interested: Pat will be leading the original
Riviera trip (meet @ the Raymondville Stripes @ 7:00), and afterwards Norma
Friedrich will be leading an extension to run up to Goose Island State Park
in search of Whooping Cranes! I will be leading a "chase trip" down to
Sabal Palm Grove to hopefully see the Crimson-collared Grosbeak; the meeting
spot for that trip will be the Stripes at the intersection of US 77 and Hwy
511, also @ 7:00.
Fee for all these options is $5.00 per person to sponsor a school field
trip to the VNC. Please keep in mind as well that there is an additional
entry charge for Sabal Palm and Goose Island SP.
