Hi, all!
Just a quick report for now, but MJ Syvertsen, Pat Heirs, and myself went
looking for Hudsonian Godwit and White-rumped Sandpiper before the window
closed; dipped on those, but had some other nice things. Highlights include:
Lots of Buff-breasted Sandpipers and one Upland Sandpiper at the north end
of the Weaver Road sod farms
a Ringed Kingfisher near the little bridge along Jimenez (where the Cave
Swallows nest)
Aplomado Falcon near the shack along SR 100
several knockout Roseate Spoonbills at Port Isabel Reservoir
Lots of breeding-plumaged Dunlin behind the SPI Convention Center
Philadelphia Vireo and other lingering migrants at said center
