[texbirds] Scoter

I have a question. I saw the bird in question to day, which was about 30 yds
off shore. What I saw was two very distinct white circular patches closer to
Big Sibley's juvenile 1st winter White-winged Scoter. I did not see the
vertical white secondaries nor did the frontal patch appear vertical.
This is a request for comment.
