A group of 11 birders from around the country joined me for today's
walk. Highlights included Clay-colored Thrush and Altamira Oriole at
the feeders, Wilson's Phalarope continues on Pintail 3, and Redheads
and a Canvasback on Pintail 2.
The glossy ibis has been reported on Pintail 2 today and the Fulvous
Whistling-Duck also continues on Willow Lake, visible from the
Chachalaca Trail blind.
Walks are offered daily and leave the visitor center at 8:30 am.
