Four people from Vermont, Wisconsin, and Illinois joined me on today's
walk. Four female hooded mergansers continue on Willow Lake. A
clay-colored thrush was in plain view at the feeders, along with an
altimira oriole.
Tomorrow is my last day leading bird walks here at Santa Ana. I am
headed back to my primary refuge: Edwin B. Forsythe (aka Brigantine)
NWR in New Jersey. Volunteers will continue to lead Santa Ana walks 7
days a week, still beginning at 8:30 am. Like us on facebook at
