Hi, all!
Today Ken and I headed up to Salineno in hopes of Audubon's Oriole, Ringed
Kingfisher, and White-collared Seedeater as the main targets; got great
looks at the first, a fleeting look at the second, and dipped totally on the
third, but we made up for it with great butterfly action at both Falcon
State Park and the National Butterfly Center, with highlights including
Zilpa Longtail and the continuing Chestnut Crescents and Double-dotted
Skippers. Oh, and a distant Red-billed Pigeon was a nice bonus, too! :-)
