The chances of seeing a golden-fronted woodpecker at Sabine Woods are only
slightly greater than the chances of seeing a tropical mockingbird there.
And to have the female paired to a hybrid? Woodpeckers in general are rare
within the upper Texas coastal hiatus. I guess we can't blame these on a
boat :-)
