Both second bridge and Hunter's Lane resacas have a mix of ducks
remaining. Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks are starting to move back
in.There were a few swallows on the move but not much else in the way of
migrants.
A Swamp Sparrow in the reeds across from the Yellowthroat bench was a nice
surprise. A single Common Yellowthroat and a single Black-and-white were
the only warblers. The Chachalaca chorus never let up. Both Couch's and
Tropical Kingbirds were also singing throughout the morning.
