Plus there is a spectacular male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker in the deck area
(sapsuckers are also near the first bridge and the large ash on the tram
road).
A Nashville Warbler was working a Huisache tree just before the Kiskadee
Deck - the same tree one was seen in last Friday. There are more
Blue-winged Teal than we've seen in months, Gadwall and American Wigeon in
good numbers, Mottled Ducks, four Northern Pintail, yet not a single
Shoveler this morning.

Two Verdin were busy and visible near the Flycatcher Trail cutoff, one
carrying nesting material. Nearby, a Black-crested Titmouse had its bill
full of lichen. On Flycatcher Trail, past Hogg Trail, a Greater Roadrunner
was calling. Altamira Orioles seem to be checking out possible nesting
spots. White-tipped Dove are calling throughout the Ebony woods.
