The morning was overcast with a light breeze.  Water finished filling the
entire resaca system a couple days ago, and while not flooded, it's full.
All decks and recaca overlooks have plenty of water and an interesting
variety of ducks.  We're sure the Wood Duck is still around, but didn't
locate it today.  While water was flowing it moved from the South Mexican
Olive deck to the first bridge area where it was easily visible for a
couple days.

DIRECTIONS:  The main entrance to Resaca de la Palma State Park is located
on New Carmen Blvd. From Expressway 77/83, exit at Olmito, take FM 1732,
follow for 2.5 miles; turn left at New Carmen Road; follow for 1.5 miles;
shortly after the gravel hump in the road, turn left to enter the park.
