Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Bird Walk and Warbler ID Bingo Class at
Kleb Woods! You do not need to register for the class, but if you know you will
be attending, please send a quick email so we have an idea of how many people
to expect.
Big Day - Bird walks start at 8:30 AM and meet at the nature center. All are
welcome.
Warbler ID Bingo! - At 1:30 PM, we will have a Warbler Identification Class.
This will be different from any other identification class we've had, as we
will be playing bingo. In this game, we will show you a picture of a warbler
and you must first identify it and then look for the name on your BINGO card.
There will be a "sweet" prize for the winner of each game. The length of the
class will be determined by how good the birding is outside, but it should last
at least an hour. It is highly recommended that you bring a field guide for
this class.
Also, the senior birding bus trip this Friday will be going to Quintana,
Surfside, and LaFitte's Cove. The bus is currently full, but the waitlist is
down to one person, so there is a good chance a seat or two will become
available. Please let me know if you would like to add your name to the
waitlist.
