I re-located the Western Tanager this morning at the Refugio Lions Park. When I saw the bird it was in an Oak Tree near the head of the nature trail, by the soccer field, so it appears to be moving around the park. The couple from Kansas (sorry I'm bad with names) originally found the bird this bird morning, so thanks to them for getting me in the right spot. I have photos but they are not the best. Thanks to Tom Langscheid for originally finding the bird and to Susan Foster for updating the bird yesterday. BTW Northern Parula's are singing like crazy so spring must be here...
