Today's VNC Field Trip way up river had some nice birds, including subject nuthatch at the "seedeater pond" in Zapata, along with Pine Siskins, a female Painted Bunting, and nice look at an Audubon's Oriole. And yes, we got the seedeater at San Ygnacio (although only briefly)!
