There are still 2 immature Purple Gallinules at Sheldon Lake. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gregpage/10502254994/ They are turning a nice shade of green. There were 3 Common Gallinules fighting each other. They were clawing each other in the chest with their large feet. In the prairie I saw several Sedge Wrens. I'm still waiting for the park to open the new road inside Sheldon Lake. It looks like it is done but they have still not opened the gates.
