After the rains left (for now) seems like there was a mass departure, especially by the hummingbirds...Spent another hour or so out...Since there seems to be interest in Anis...Those in POC should check out the blk. between 2nd and 3rd. north of Adams and Louis Echol's old place on Jefferson.. Not many passerines etc, a few flycatchers, warblers etc. but nothing worth mentioning. It was interesting to see a big flock of Wood Storks come down and then hit the point....They milled around figuring what to do then headed up toward Seadrift I guess. I reckon I have to figure if I should wet a hook this afternoon. More rain said to be coming and the water is flat.. -- Brush Freeman
