record was from Calhoun Co. David True was kind enough to provide this...I
somehow had thought it was from the early '90's. Thanks David.
"Our records indicate that a Painted Redstart was observed on April 18,
1988 on Matagorda Island. That was the only historic record that I've
found on the redstart."
