Partly cloudy, 71, SE winds ~10mph. Spent from about 6:40-8:30 birding two areas including the usual. Only a thin dusting of migrants. On ground it was very slow. Only a Philadelphia Vireo for an FOY. Most migrants were in the air. I heard Dickcissels and Buntings flying over in numbers but only a few had come down. There were lots of swallows as well. Saw two birders I did not know (rare) far down the street but never caught up to them. Maybe they had better luck. Brown-crested Fly 2 Great Crested Fly E. W.
