[texbirds] Notes from the coast Bolivar Flats +

The coast is very birdy right now. The rain has filled the high marsh along 
Rettilon Rd and it is full of avocets and stilts of all ages. 
I have never seen so many avocets in July and wonder if the drought 
in the midwest impacted breeding. Gulls and pelicans are everywhere.
