[texbirds] Notes from the coast 3/24/14

Volunteers report that it was non-stop warblers and vireos at High Island
today. One of the birdiest early spring days in years. I was on the beach most
of the day with oil spill "stuff". Although there are some oiled birds there
are many unoiled birds and the avocets are putting on quite a show. If you
decide to go to Bolivar Flats please make an effort not to disturb the birds as
they are under a lot of extra stress between the spill and the weather.
