hay enterprise. Folks often ask where I bird and a number of those areas
are strictly private and marked as such. This new field can be viewed
from a public road however the ROW is very narrow (~3-4 ft.) and hard to
park on so you may have to park further up or down the road as there is
increasing traffic on this road, especially in the mornings and afternoons
as people head off to work.......Do NOT walk out into this field as I can
relate some history with this landowner in particular. A scope is probably
a good idea.
About 30 minutes ago there were 4 Am. Golden Plovers there, some possible
longspurs way out, numerous Mourning Doves and other birds as the field has
been disced smooth and is being prep'ed for planting

From 969 drive north on Lower Elgin River Rd or just Elgin River Rd. about
1 mile. There is a smaller plowed are on the right before you get to this
larger field. One can't miss the field on the right about one mile down the
road or a bit less....This is near Utley....Note there is is an Upper Elgin
River Road a several miles to the west closer to the Travis Co. line.
