birders need this BTW) and they give the typical arrival dates in the fall
as late Sept. but they don't show any outliers, just the typical dates.
"Birdlife of Houston, Galveston and the Upper Texas Coast" give typical
arrival date as early Oct but with outliers to Sept 14. The TOS Handbook
(2004) also has typical arrival dates listed as late Sept. I did not check
BLOT due to its more dated publication.
