Texbirders,
The east-reaching Audubon's Oriole has been continuing to delight visitors
at the north feeding station for several weeks now.
Also of note, one of the two leucistic cardinals which were present all of
last winter, has returned.
Yesterday's free weekly Bird & Nature Walk included a big mixed flock with
lots of gnatcatchers, orange-crowneds, and two black-throated greens, and
great looks at a male Vermillion Flycatcher in the southeast corner by the
canal.
Not a day goes by without several visits by our local Harris's Hawk family.
Current site hours are 8 am to sunset, daily, weather-permitting.
