80 Northern Rough-winged Swallows, in one aggregation, in Lynn County?!
Those are incredible numbers. I guess that's what a strong cold front will
do. Insanity. I'd be happy to find 1 or 2 of the region's hardest-to-get
swallow.

I spent most of a cold, overcast, and very windy day in Lynn County
yesterday, hoping that the front would have stalled some migrant
songbirds. I did not do particularly well with that particular group of

over my house in the morning, 1 male Rufous Hummingbird at my house in the
evening, 6 Franklin's Gulls near Woodrow, and 32 Cattle Egrets near
Woodrow.
