Greetings All:
Between my schedule and the weather, things slammed to a bit of a halt in
the yard this week.
I had one adult female Black-chinned Hummingbird daily from 3-8 October.
On 9 October, she was replaced - seemingly - by an immature male
Black-chinned Hummingbird.
I also had 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler (normal for the region by now but rare
in my yard - ever) and 1 Clay-colored Sparrow in the yard on 9 October.
Next week should bring better opportunities to look for critters during the
evenings.
