Since we found none, we headed back east on 29. About a mile later, an adult Bald Eagle zoomed by going west about telephone-pole high. We made a quick U-turn, and followed about half mile and saw him going NW from the intersect with CR 202. He disappeared over the tree tops about 1/4 mile going NW. As we birded along 202, a local lady stopped to see what we were doing. She said the area where the eagle flew may have been up the Little Llano River. Hopefully there's a nest in that area but probably on a private ranch.
