Least Grebes are tough to get in Williamson Co. but this morning I found 4
at a retention pond at 2120 Parksville Way in Cedar Park.. A Marsh Wren was
also present there... A bit south in the Jone's Brothers Park area of
Jonestown (Travis Co.) there was a Ringed Kingfisher flyby, Bald Eagle and
Couch's Kingbird. At Veterans Memorial Park (Cedar Park) there was a
flyover flock of about 100 Franklin's Gulls. A good morning out.
