Earlier today I listed we saw two Laughing gulls at the Northeast Lake View
college area.
It has been pointed out to me they might have been Franklin gulls instead. And,
I concur to that possibility as the gulls were flying rapidly overhead.
The reason I listed them as Laughing gulls was due to the calls they made as
they passed overhead. They sounded like the Laughing gulls I have seen and
heard along the coast.
I know Laughing gulls tend to stay around the coastline but it could be
possible the weather brought some inland?
So, I will list them as unknown gulls, likely a Franklin’s but possible
Laughing.
