[texbirds] Lake O Pines - White Winged Scoters - Pacific Loons

Luanne and I had two White-winged Scoters at Oak Valley on Lake O Pines. If
you go to the boat ramp and line up the yellow poles they point in the general
direction the birds were seen. They were way out there. They were females /
first year plumage.
We then had 3 Pacific Loons along with 35 Common Loons at the beach area of
Lakeside Park near the dam. One of the Pacific's we could see the line across
the neck so I assume it was an adult.
