I birded the Llano Co. shore of Lake Buchanan and county roads to the west from 8:00 am- 1:00pm yesterday (12/22/12). The effects of the drought are still very visible and the lake is very low, attracting unseasonable shorebirds (pretty much all at Cedar Point Rec. Area).
