Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, Los Fresnos, TX. This morning
on the Bird Tour, eight of us went around Laguna Atascosa Lake on one of
their daily bird tours. They have a bird tour either to Bahia Grande or
around the Lake every day (reservations required) in addition to their
(twice-a-day) habitat tours (9a, 1p ... 3/hr ea). The bird tour is about
3.5 hours long. The highlights for me were the male and female Green
Kingfishers and the Anhingas. For more information, check out: .
