I arrived at Lafitte's Cove about 2:00 and found there were already a few birds in the woods. They were not readily coming to the drip and the sky was heavy and about a hour or so later it started sprinkling rain. We did have a small fall out. There were Yellow Warblers, Am Redstarts, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Bay-breasted Warbler, Black and White Warbler, Indigo Bunting, Blackburnian Warbler, Orange-crowned Warbler, Tennessee Warbler, Scarlet Tanagers, Swainson's Thrush, Veery, Gray-cheeked Thrush, Red-eyed Vireo, and at least one Philadelphia Vireo. I left about 4:45 because the rain was getting worse and it was way to dark to take pictures. David Hanson Baytown/Mont Belvieu Area
