2nd Saturday bird walk. 7:30am. Banding was taking place today. Hopefully
these feathers will stick around until tomorrow’s walk! Come out and join us!!

Per Keith Lockhart; Good day at the LLELA banding station today. Banded these
warblers: Wilson's, Magnolia, Yellow, Ovenbird, and Common Yellow Throats. Also
banded: Gray Catbird, Least Flycatcher, Carolina Wren, Swainson's Thrush, and
Painted and Indigo Buntings. In the trees and in the immediate area were
Black-throated Greens, Blackburnians, Tennessee's, and a Blackpoll Warbler. A
Warbling Vireo was with the flock and there was a Mississippi Kite flyover.
