[texbirds] Kiskadee at Eisenhower Park

Ray Porter and I had a Great Kiskadee at Eisenhower Park in Harris County
today. It was at the pond with woods around it. Park at the playground and
walk to the other side of the playground and there is a pond in the woods.
It was on a stump in the pond. We also saw 3 Louisiana Waterthrushes, and a
Bald Eagle carrying nesting material. It was an adult Bald Eagle carrying a
large branch. I would not have expected an Eagle to be working on a nest
at this time of year but maybe it is just getting an early start on
repairing its nest for later this year. At Sheldon Lake there were several
Alder Flycatchers by the bridge on Garret Road.
