Hello texbirders,
I am checking out NWR for the first time. No Swans yet but 5 King Rails.
Just photographed a female picking at a dead rat. Is this normal? Not a
species I ever thought would earn the monicker "trash bird" but 5? Also,
do I have to be wary of Clapper Rail at Shoveler Pond?
