I got another call last night from Charmaine that there is another John Oneill who is also a rather famous artist and it was he who died. Not the John O'Neill we all know and love who is a bird artist, illustrator and explorer. Long live and paint John. Charmaine Ganson just posted on Texbirds facebook that she saw on another facebook page that John O'Neill died today. I hope this is untrue. A great discoverer of tropical birds and a fabulous artist is too young to be taken from us. Can anyone refute this rumor?
